About the Double Vision Society

The Double Vision Society was established to support and promote the UAMS Harvey & Bernice Jones Eye Institute’s mission to provide, teach, discover, promote and inspire patient-first, cost-effective eye care.
The Jones Eye Institute is the only institution in Arkansas that educates and trains eye doctors and technicians. Our dedicated team of researchers and scientists search for and discover better treatments for eye diseases and low vision problems. We provide patients with those treatments in our clinics, while sharing our knowledge with other health care providers. We also search for and recruit the highest quality physicians and educators to ensure we provide excellent patient care, medical education and research.
Double Vision Society contributions provide immediate discretionary funds for Jones Eye Institute’s director to use where funds are needed most or where we otherwise may not have sufficient resources.
Your financial support strengthens our work and makes a big impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
